Carol studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Art, the Corcoran Gallery of Art and received an MFA at the American University. As a sculptor, she works in clay, wax, plaster and metal mesh, making both figurative and abstract pieces. As a painter she works in acrylic to make abstract works evoking a sense of calmness and mystery.
